Betty Minnucci was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Central Bucks High School, she went on to Lock Haven University and obtained a degree in education. She has taught in both Hatboro and Central Bucks School Districts. Betty paints with oils using a pallet knife. Her compositions include; animals, snowscapes, and disappearing historical structures.
She has studied with Liz Kenyon, Barbara Land in Arizona, Myron Barnstone of Barnstone Studios and lately with Jim Lukens.
Betty has been accepted into many juried shows. She has won numerous awards in Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. She continues to be active in several art circles, including a pallet knife demonstration at the Philadelphia Sketch Club. She demonstrates locally in pastels, another very successful medium for her. She is a founding member of the Traditional Artist Group, whose work has raised funds for the Doylestown Conservatory and the Bucks County SPCA.
