I studied illustration at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts and ended up as an Art Director for AT&T. After wearing a tie and working there for 22 years I took one of their packages and jumped ship. I moved my family to Hunterdon County where I converted an old carriage house and started my own illustration and design agency.
I have a great interest for historical themes of 18th-century lifestyles, particularly the eighteenth-century eastern frontier. Influenced by living in an area rich in historical significance which provides a great visual reference for many of my paintings. I’ve had a number of paintings featured on the cover of historical magazines.
My love of military history, particularly World War II Naval aviation is evident in many of the works I’ve created. I’ve received awards, including Director’s Choice and 1st Place from the National US Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, Florida. I currently have two paintings that are part of the museum’s permanent collection.
My interests and passions are varied. Hunting, fly fishing, nature and the outdoors find their way into many of my paintings and landscapes. The Catskill Fly Fishing Center museum, Livingston Manor, NY also has one of my paintings on the permanent collection.
